How I raised the finance?
Personal savings, but had I so wished I could have raised contributory funding from the specialist franchise departments of the leading banks with whom OPC is an accredited activity.

The training and support I have received so far from OPC?
Superb. Hands on and on-going.

What other franchisees in OPC have said that influenced my decision
I spoke with two other OPC franchisees, visiting one of them to view their set up. I was given frank and open opinion and there is no question that this not only gave me the confidence to move forward but it opened my eyes to some of the realities.

My plans for the future of my OPC franchise
It is clear that there are significant development opportunities within my franchise territory, and indeed I am already having to handle new business enquiries on a reactive basis. At this initial stage I am, naturally enough, getting to grips with the basics, although I have very much had to hit the ground running with the Xmas season to manage. Once this is out of the way I intend expanding the business in a controlled (proactive) manner following a Business Plan which has been jointly constructed with the OPC group. To do so will require additional human resource and so I intend involving my wider family in the activity.
